Diversity Is Good For Business, Not an Act of Kindness

Looking at the world of diversity in business, one thing is clear – diversity is not just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have for businesses that want to stay competitive. Countless studies have shown that companies with diverse leadership teams drive higher financial returns. Despite the positive correlation, many companies lack diversity both in their teams and their portfolios. Concrete, proactive action needs to be taken to shift the dial and make a diverse workforce a norm.

Furthermore, leaders also need to create structure and cultures that are inclusive, to retain and motivate a diverse workforce to deliver to its fullest potential.

This session will be an honest discussion about the steps that need to be taken to create an accessible and inclusive environment for all within the workforce, and also explore the importance of community building and an inclusive culture.

about

Good Growth Summit

The Good Growth Summit continues the conversation around the role entrepreneurs and the tech ecosystem play in building a better future. Our world is facing a reckoning, with the repercussions of climate change hitting us faster than estimated, the continued battle for a more equal and diverse society facing resistance and pandemic uncertainty resulting in a mental health crisis. “Good Growth” is at the foundation of responding to these challenges.

The Good Growth Summit features founders, businesses, investors, and thought leaders who through their work not only contribute to sustainable growth but have purpose and social impact at the heart of their business. This year, the Summit will take place in-person in London.
